Stupid People

I have been reading Richard’s blog not just because he’s a friend, but because I have hosted it as a sub-domain of this site.

The customers Richard describes as being unable to deal with the new doors at Pioneer Loan are typical of the public in general and in all probability are untrainable.
I certainly know people that refuse to change the way they do things, but I would expect them to adapt to little things…. Like how to get though the doors and in to a place where they want to do business.

There is a neighborhood near Bonanza and Nellis that is zoned for horses. For that reason the Hispanics that move in think it’s alright to keep all kinds of livestock.
When zoning or animal control tells them they can’t have the 130 chickens they get rid of a few and wait to be fined.
A man who lives in that area bought a milk cow and then ponied up the $600 to apply for a variance.
The city rejected it unanimously.
In light of the rejection, he says he’s going to appeal, because the zoning law says he can have horses, so the city can’t legally disallow cattle?!?!?
Oh yes… He has to appeal to the same people who turned him down unanimously the first time.
In the mean time. —–Drum roll please….. he just bought a calf and was talking about buying another cow.

On a different note. I was reading the Galactic Poolhall Blog and came across this tidbit. About a guy in Joly Ol’ who electrocuted his wife during sex by hooking her up to an ac power strip and flipping the switch.
—But officer, I’ve stabbed/electrocuted him/her plenty of times and he/she never died before.

As the saying goes… You can’t fix stupid.
