Obama supporters gerrymander their way to victory
The power brokers in this great state of Nevada successfully managed to get the majority of Democratic delegates assigned to Obama.
By arranging Individual precincts in each of the major strip hotels, getting support from the state’s largest union, and rigging the vote so that the votes in the hotels counted five times as much as any other votes in the state, they got their man the extra delegates he needed.
Nevada doesn’t have a huge number of delegates but neither do most of the western states. The trick is to get enough small states to offset the larger states. A bit of gerrymandering here and vote fixing there and before you know it, you’ve pulled a Bush and stolen the election.
It’s good to be the king. But sometimes it’s better to be a king maker. You are in a position to make more money than you can spend, get jobs and contracts for your friends and family, and you’re not the one they behead when things go wrong.
