My view of the world

I saw more on the news, about the great Las Vegas billboard heist.
The report now says that the security guard, was asleep, and the guy who did it was wearing a cape.
According to witnesses, a person, presumedly male, waited until the guard was getting his much needed beauty rest, then climbed the billboard, broke into the plastic case, and threw several handfulls of one dollar bills to the street, before climbing down and making his escape.

A billboard with a plastic box full of money is robbed by a man in a cape, while the overpaid guard, caught 40 winks,… yeppers, that sounds like Vegas, lets see Atlantic City top that one.

As far as I can tell, even after hearing the owner of the dot com deny it, it had to be a publicity stunt.
The bad guy only took about a third of the money, he wore a cape, although, in a town full of Elvis impersonators, this alone, doesn’t make him stand out, and he then threw handfulls of his ill gotten gains to the people in the street.
According to an anonymous source, who happens to write on occasion for the, Las Vegas Blog, there were odds posted on the dot com website, as to if and when someone would try to steal it.
