I’m running on very short sleep, and I’m getting punchy. I just read an email I wrote last night sometime and completely forgot to send. It was what I would politely describe as incoherent, and I sent it anyway. The data was there, just not well phrased and a trifle disorganized.
The people who know me well expect this from time to time, between work, phone calls from people who don’t understand the basic concept of time zones and my natural weirdness, sleeping til noon after getting to bed early or not sleeping at all for a couple of days all seem perfectly normal.
I’m writing this, mostly to keep awake.
Did you know that alcohol actually makes you sleep worse not better?
From an article I read “And, if you have not been getting adequate sleep, alcohol increases the symptoms of sleep deprivation“.
Did you know that a groundhog breathes once every 4 minutes when they hibernate and the groundhog day thing comes from europe where they originally applied it to hedgehogs. Not only that, hibernation is not really sleep so some anilmals come out of hibernation to sleep so they can get much needed rest. I’m no longer jealous.
